v3.33.0 🎉 - May 28, 2025

Updated over a week ago

We're excited to roll out v3.33.0, focused on enhancing document distribution workflows and improving integration with enterprise-grade email infrastructure.

Email-Based Distribution of Printout Templates

You can now send printout templates via email directly from the platform, enabling streamlined and auditable communication. This functionality includes:

  • A structured modal interface for composing emails

  • Recipient selection, inline template preview, and custom message input

  • Sent emails are automatically reflected in each recipient’s Letters section, including:

    • The email subject

    • The message content

    • The attached .pdf file of the printout template

This feature eliminates the need for external tools and ensures all sent documents are properly tracked and accessible in Mailabl’s record system.

SMTP Integration for Outbound Email

Mailabl now supports SMTP-based email sending, giving your organization full control over outbound messaging. Highlights include:

  • Emails are dispatched directly from your own email account, ensuring alignment with internal security, branding, and compliance standards

  • All emails sent through Mailabl are visible in your Sent Mail folder, providing full transparency and traceability

  • Seamless alignment with existing IT policies, authentication mechanisms, and delivery controls

Simplified Setup:

  • Admins configure the global SMTP settings once (host, port, encryption), under Settings > Integrations > SMTP

  • Each user only needs to enter their personal username and password under Settings > Email

  • This streamlined setup ensures ease of use while maintaining centralized control over infrastructure-level details

This release significantly enhances operational control, auditability, and end-to-end transparency across your organization’s communication and document handling workflows.

That’s the rundown for this release! We’re pumped to roll this out and can’t wait to hear how it fits into your workflow. See you in the next update!
